Project Mayhem 2012: Operation Countdown

Greetings citizens of the World Wide Web, we are Anonymous. For months, we have sought support from people all around the globe: Artists, hackers, coders, musicians and protesters alike. The call to arms was received with an outpouring response, but still not enough support has been shown.

In times like these, truth will always be enough to break any barrier that may be in our path, as this opportunity for a free and just world unfolds, it is our duty to seize this moment for the good of humanity. Each one of us carries different ideologies, but we must push our differences aside and agree on one thing: this world is big enough for every human being to follow his or her true will, and to live a life we can all live equally with abundance. To achieve this, Project Mayhem 2012 seeks to leak illegality, fraud, and corruption of Government, Corporate, and Financial institutions worldwide. This event will usher in a new age of love and prosperity while expanding our collective consciousness.

The danger of PM2012 lies solely in the fact that the goal can be accomplished, if we as a whole will it to be. This is the true danger of our intentions. Who are we? We are everyone, we are you, we are your brothers, your sisters, your mothers, your daughters, and your friends. We protect the streets. We configure your firewalls. We secure your information. For every institution that stands, therein lies human beings that have kept the heart of these entities beating. If you are one that does not fear change, if you are someone who is willing to consider this possible, we ask you to join us this December 11th to make Project Mayhem 2012 shine in the eyes of the public.

Create a picture, compose a song, or create a video supporting this event and/or what you would like to see happen on 12/21/2012 and tweet it out. Tweet out a call to arms to your favorite coders, hackers, artists, musicians, protesting groups or any of your choosing. Make Project Mayhem 2012 trend world wide.

You are Anonymous.

Operation Egypt (Press Release)

Dear citizens of the world,

Anonymous can not, and will not stand idly while people are being denied their basic rights and human liberties. Yet, there are still a lot of governments worldwide who fail to even aspire to the standard of freedom that was set by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. These governments believe they have the right and privilege to impose upon their own people an 'official' version of 'reality' which isn't in any way tampered by the truths of everyday life under which its citizens are living. Anonymous believes this is an outright crime which can not go unpunished.

The Egyptian people are living under inhumane conditions; being denied their basic rights to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of association, and the free access to information. By imposing censorship upon its own people and condemning these freedoms, the Egyptian government has revealed itself to be criminal, and has made itself an enemy of Anonymous.

To the Egyptian Government: Anonymous challenges all those who are involved in censorship. Anonymous wants you to offer free access to uncensored media in your entire country. When you ignore this message, not only will we attack your government websites, Anonymous will also make sure that the international media sees the horrid reality you impose upon your people. Anonymous will not spare anybody who supports this suppression. It is in the hands of the Egyptian government to end this: continue your repression and you will be subject to civil protest - lend an ear to the claim of freedom from your people and the hostilities will cease.

To the Egyptian people: We stand together and united against this oppression. This struggle is not just for you alone, but for the whole of humankind. Citizens can no longer endure their governments abuse. When forced by the threat of oppression, we will be loud as hell - and when the people roar, it will send shivers down the spines of all those who stifle our freedom and take our precious liberties away.

Anonymous are your brothers and sisters, your sons and daughters, your parents and your friends, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, ethnicity, or place of birth. Anonymous is you. You will not be denied your right to free speech, free press, free association and your universal right to freely access information, both in real life and through the internet.

Join us on the IRC - irc.anonops.ru #OpEgypt !

Join us in this battle for freedom of information worldwide!

For as Khalil Gibran once said: "Life without Freedom is like a body without a soul, and Freedom without Thought is like a confused spirit... Life, Freedom and Thought are three-in-one, and are everlasting and shall never pass away."

Anonymous Op4RedHack

Greetings Citizens of the world, this is Anonymous.

It has come to our attention that the Turkish government want to prosecute a hacker group called Redhack, they are accused of being a "terror organisation." Prosecutors will demand up to 24 years imprisonment for people who have no connection to Redhack.

They opposed and carried out actions against rapes, out of date milk distributed to school children, which resulted in 100's being poisoned, and the country being prostituted to the capitalists. They opposed child pornography, internet censorship, and brutal government opposition. Lately, they have been viciously attacked by the Fascist Turkish State because they share information which already belongs to the people. The most significant of these attacks is the one that has been levied against innocent people who have no link to Redhack. These people, who have shared information on social media about these actions, are now held for ransom, solely in order to demonise Redhack and cut their support.

Redhack openly declared that Duygu Kerimoglu, Ugur Cihan Okutulmus and AllaatinKaragenc are not their members. Nor are the seven others, on bail.

We implore the public to give their support to these innocent people. We call on all hacktivists, activists, freedom defenders, human rights organisation to demand an end to the restraints imposed on these three innocent people on remand, and the seven others on bail.

No matter how dark it may seem, no matter how alone and abandoned you may feel know that over 9 thousands of us in Anonymous are with you and working tirelessly around the clock to bring you every assistance. To the people of Turkey and Redhack, know that Anonymous stands with you in this fight.

We are Anonymous.

Anonymous statement on the ceasefire Gaza

Wednesday - November 21, 2012 3:00 PM ET USA

Greetings World --

For the past week, we in Anonymous have come together with many other allied cyber-activist groups from around the globe to conduct Operation Israel. Our mission was three-fold, and clearly stated: to do everything in our power to keep the innocent people of Gaza connected to the world, to interfere with the brutal aggression aimed at them by the IDF - and to help give a voice to the voiceless. We feel that we have succeeded in these goals.

We are gratified and immensely relieved, as is everyone in the world - to hear of the announced cease fire between Hamas and the IDF. No one in the world desires a just and lasting peace more than Anonymous. While we in the collective have no problem interfering in war, we do NOT believe it is productive to interfere with peace. We will therefore stand down immediately from all further cyber attacks upon the IDF or Israel so as not to risk this delicate and perilous cease fire arrangement. Likewise, we encourage all those cyber groups who have joined with us to also cease and desist now from aggressive acts, and give this cease-fire a chance. We ask this NOT on behalf or for the benefit of either the government of Israel, or Hamas - but we beg it of you on behalf of the innocent people of Gaza, that they may no longer be slaughtered with impunity.

But let no one misunderstand us. Anonymous will continue to monitor the Internet and other communications lines into and out of Gaza. We will continue to watch closely BOTH sides in this war.  And we will continue to advocate by all peaceful means at our disposal for a just and lasting peace for Palestine and Israel, as well as the entire world. We will be vigilant, we will be active. Operation Israel  is NOT going anywhere, and the innocent people of Gaza will never be alone again. Let this Operation be an object lesson to any government or entity anywhere who believes they can turn off the Internet...

Anonymous attacks Israeli websites

Anonymous has launched attacks against websites in Israel. Over 700 Israeli websites have been hacked and defaced such as Israeli government and military sites, Tel Aviv's official government and the Israeli president's site fails to load. Anonymous has also taken the Bank of Jerusalem, one of Israel's largest financial institutions, offline, and deleted the banks online database.

The Jerusalem Post has confirmed the assault, of Anonymous including the attack on the Foreign Ministry’s website, as well as those of Kadima party, Bank of Jerusalem, and Tel Aviv Municipality.

Anonymous Operation Israel (OpIsrael) is a response of the announced from the Israeli government on Wednesday, November 14, that they would be cutting off Internet services in Gaza.

Op Israel Care Package For Gaza.zip

Greetings World --

For to long, Anonymous has stood by with the rest of the world and watched in despair the barbaric, brutal and despicable treatment of the Palestinian people in the so called "Occupied Territories" by the Israel Defense Force. Like so many around the globe, we have felt helpless in the face of such implacable evil. And today's insane attack and threatened invasion of Gaza was more of the same.

But when the government of Israel publicly threatened to sever all Internet and other telecommunications into and out of Gaza they crossed a line in the sand. As the former dictator of Egypt Mubarack learned the hard way - we are ANONYMOUS and NO ONE shuts down the Internet on our watch. To the IDF and government of Israel we issue you this warning only once. Do NOT shut down the Internet into the "Occupied Territories", and cease and desist from your terror upon the innocent people of Palestine or you will know the full and unbridled wrath of Anonymous. And like all the other evil governments that have faced our rage, you will NOT survive it unscathed.

To the people of Gaza and the "Occupied Territories", know that Anonymous stands with you in this fight. We will do everything in our power to hinder the evil forces of the IDF arrayed against you. We will use all our resources to make certain you stay connected to the Internet and remain able to transmit your experiences to the world. As a start, we have put together the Anonymous Gaza Care Package which contains instructions in Arabic and English that can aid you in the event the Israel government makes good on it's threat to attempt to sever your Internet connection. It also contains useful information on evading IDF surveillance, and some basic first aid and other useful information. We will continue to expand and improve this document in the coming days, and we will transmit it to you by every means at our disposal. We encourage you to download this package, and to share it with your fellow Palestinians to the best of your ability.

We will be with you. No matter how dark it may seem, no matter how alone and abandoned you may feel - know that tens of thousands of us in Anonymous are with you and working tirelessly around the clock to bring you every aid and assistance that we can.

NullCrew - Fuck The System

Currently, we live in a world that we are constantly afraid to bring others into.
All because the people whom are called terrorists, are the ones who control us.
Raising false flags, to fund their wars.

Supplying drug cartels with weapons, due to a bill being signed.
Rights being removed.
Censorship being supplied.

Fuck The System, when the government lies.
Fuck The System, when corporations opperate under the table.
Fuck The System, when your insurance company refuses to pay the difference, due to greed.

Fuck The System, when you have nothing left; due to a political giants actions.
Fuck The System, when you are claimed a terrorist for practicing freedom of speech.

So many reasons, to many to list; that is why we here at NullCrew have taken actions.

People losing money, when we pay taxes.
People losing freedom, for speaking their mind.
People whom are suicidal, being shot by the cops; instead of attempting to help.

These are all reasons that Fuck The System has always been so important to us.

We should all be putting all of our differences aside for the bigger problems at hand, the fact that we are being brain washed.
That we are being punished, having rights extinguished from the governments own fear.

Anyone can make a difference, all it takes; is opinions to be announced.
All it takes, is a strong will; and the ability to see through with what you do.

We all want this change, more so then others; and this is OUR way or protesting.
This is OUR way of speaking our minds.

This is all of us, united into one idea.
The idea of true freedom, so as people who wish for this.

Let's all shout:
Let us be free!

Remember the 5th of November

A rash of cyber attacks were reported on Monday in line with the the 5th of November "V For Vendetta" inspired hacking spree.

The Guy Fawkes Day start with the hack of 28,000 Paypal Accounts. Several Australian government sites were targeted during the global day of protest, while Argentina’s government bank was also reportedly hacked. Anonymous takes 89 child porn sites offline

Anonymous have taken offline 89 child pornography sites. The websites were housed at the Webs hosting service. "Now we have good news and bad news. We have successfully attacked and removed 89 Webs service child porn sites. The bad news is that after a few Google searches we have discovered another 197,000 child pornography sites on the Webs hosting service.

Anonymous is depressing to see such numbers. "But we will not give up. Our attacks will not stop until each child porn site on the web is removed and any pedophile who ever wronged is punished."

Anonymous asks Webs to assist in tracing the websites. "They know we are serious and if they refuse to remove the child pornography sites, we will force them offline. This is not a threat, it's a promise."

Greetz from the LulzShip

Greetings once again internet users, we are Anonymous.

Our last attack when we took down the 12 child porn sites gained great support
from people everywhere and we thank you for that, without you the world would
not know our cause and this entire operation would be not nearly as effective.

A post was made to twitter about a formspring user who was posting child porn
to his formspring account. The email for formsprings staff was posted to twitter
and some concerned users emailed it to complain about the user. The users account
was suspended and we recieved and email informing us that they were looking into
him, he will most likely get arrested. #Victory

Now we have good news and bad news; the good news being: we have succesfully
attacked and removed 89 child porn sites from the .webs service. The bad news
is that when we run some google queries it shows that there is about 197,000
websites on the .webs service hosting CP (this is 100% legitimate). It is
depressing to see a number like that involved with something like this. BUT WE
WILL NOT GIVE UP! Our attacks will not cease until every child porn site on the
internet is erased and every pedophile who has ever done harm is punished.

We invite .webs to aid us in the eradication of child porn websites from their
servers, they already know we mean business and if they refuse to remove the CP
sites we will take them down by force. This is not a threat, it is a promise.

All these pedos must be getting really butthurt by now. lulz. And they are about
to get a huge dose of extra strength butthurt.

16 year old threatens ISPs with cyber attack Anonymous

A 16-year-old boy has confessed that he is the maker of a Anonymous video on YouTube last week. In the video the maker threatened ISPs and government websites in the Netherlands with a massive cyber attack by Anonymous.  The National Police Agency had already come to the conclusion that in that corner no activities were developed for a large-scale cyber attack.

The boy has contacted a special high tech team of the National Investigation Service after a call from the police in the media. The 16-year-old told the police that it was a one-man operation and that it had nothing to do with Anonymous. He has not thought about the consequences of his actions and has apologized, said the KLPD.

Anonymous launched attack Spanish government website

Anonymous has Wednesday launched an attack on the primary website of the Parliament of Spain and the web site of the Spanish National Police in response to the senseless violence used against peaceful protesters by the Spanish National Police.

Anonymous has removed from the Internet the web site of the Spanish National Police located at www.policia.es - and will keep it offline so long as continue the brutality.

The attack on the primary website of the Parliament of Spain include not only DdoS and hacking, but also Black Fax & E-Mail bombs. With this attack Anonymous will removing the Parliament of Spain from the Internet entirely.

For the second day running, tens of thousands of demonstrators led by the so-called indignados, or outraged, descended on the square – some 100 meters from Spain’s Congress building. Many in the crowd chanted "government, resign!" while hoisting up placards bearing the slogan “No” in opposition to the country's austerity program. The demonstrators are calling for new elections, saying the proposal of deeper budget cuts proves the ruling Popular Party has lost its legitimacy by failing to keep its promises. Many protesters were particularly enraged that the government was making cuts to health, education and public sector salaries while pumping funds into the country's ailing banking sector to keep it afloat.

OpBigBrother Worldwide Protest 10/20/2012.

Dear activists for the protection of privacy, dear people from all over the World.
We are Anonymous.

We call you to act now against overall Surveillance-Systems.
Worldwide governments are about to demolish Privacy with Systems like Trapwire and Indect.
Those network surveillance technologies sniff the CCTV cameras, government databases and the Internet to identify people and make a profile of citizens, their families and their socializing.

They pretend to design those systems to secure us against Terrorism but the truth is they have been working on Surveillance-Systems way before the first Terrorists attacks happened.

It's time to act, it's time to show the governments of the World, who we are, it's time to show humanity stands as united, it is time to show what freedom means to us.

We call all Activists over the world, from south and north America, from Asia, from Africa, from Australia and Oceania, from the Arab spring and from the European Union, to be a part of the Protest, against Surveillance Systems.

Act now and spread the word in your mother tongue, enter your Countries and Cities, in the pad linked on the description of this video.

Governments are supposed to defend the interest of their peoples. They are not here to cheat the citizens.

It's our Freedom and our privacy.

Let us unite the whole humanity as one.
Let it be the largest protests of the world history.
Let us engrave the 20th of October 2012 as a day in the Humanity history!

United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

We are the people

FBI hack AntiSec yielded 12 million iPhone and iPad IDs

Antisec have published a million unique device identifiers from Apple devices, were taken from an FBI computer. The alleged hack was intended to publicise the existence of some kind of secret FBI tracking project.

Someone of AntiSec posted a document to Pastebin on Monday that contained links to around a million Apple unique device identifiers (UDIDs). The anonymous poster said the release was intended to highlight the FBI's alleged tracking of Apple customers. iPadAntiSec claims to have stolen 12 million device IDs for Apple iPads and iPhones. "We never liked the concept of UDIDs since the beginning indeed," the post read. "Really bad decision from Apple. Fishy thingie."

Antisec got into the laptop of FBI special agent Christopher Stangl during the second week of March this year. Stangl works at the FBI's New York field office, and has been a prominent face in the agency's cybersecurity recruitment efforts.

AntiSec said the hack, which apparently exploited a Java vulnerability, yielded a CSV file containing "a list of 12,367,232 Apple iOS devices including Unique Device Identifiers (UDID), user names, name of device, type of device, Apple Push Notification Service [APNS] tokens, zipcodes, cellphone numbers, addresses, etc".

Anonymous Hacks Siemens and Fujitsu Websites

Anonymous continue their operations against companies be responsible for using the harmful mineral known as coltan (columbite–tantalite). The latest targets of OpColtan and OpGreenRights are the websites of Fujitsu General Brazil (fujitsugeneral.com.br) and Siemens Switzerland (siemens.ch).

Anonymous have published massive amounts of data – including some email addresses, usernames and passwords –, from these websites.

Anonymous message
Our attention turns to you, unscrupulously and greedy multinationals.
Behind your famous commercial images, fabricated and marked on an false Ethic, the most cruel barbarites are hidden.
Coltan,  the mineral that you use to produce capacitors of mobile phones,   besides being harmful to health, is also the sick result of enviromental  rape and enslavement of underdeveloped populations.
His  gruesome traffic conceal the abuse of human rights and the dirty,  imperialist war, wich is the daughter of greed and contempt of life in  all its meanings.
We can not remain indifferent to greedy profiteers whose revenues are  derived from the suffering of a colonized, oppressed and  exploited  people, forced to work in inhuman conditions and paid with meager  wages.
We also can not remain indifferent to the accomplices of environmental devastation.
Your work is unworthy: if you break the Life, we violate your sites.

Appeal  to the Citizens of the World: while self-styled advertising campaigns  boast the next technological item, thousands of children are deprived of  their childhood, their bloody hands don't know what a toy is, and they excavate constantly, searching for a mineral wich is harmful to health. Thousands of fathers and mothers also work up to 72 hours without any  protection, being enslaved and humiliated. Coltan is deleterious for  human rights, for environment, and also for health. Do not be complicit  in this mess, make your voice heard, read up, stand up, fight to restore  dignity to those who are without because of the dirty work of "democratic" giants of marketing.

Anonymous Message to India

A message to all Indians, courtesy Anonymous
========================================================

Citizens of India !

Greetings from Anonymous Collective

Since many days we have been observing the deteriorating condition of Free Speech in India. And how the corrupt Indian government is trying to suppress every dissenting voice.

Today, they talked about blocking Social Media for few days.
Tomorrow ...... they will DO it.

Once again the government is at its games trying to gag the social media which is the only remaining venue of free speech.

That battle was won but the war is still far away.
We haven't achieved complete victory.
We have still a long way to go.

We need to show this corrupt government that the citizens of this great nation shall not bow. As one of your poets of the past has said -
"Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high
Where knowledge is free"

The cause and foundations of this nation, are today under danger.
And there is only one person who can save it.

YOU..!!
Get out and say it loud and clear in the government's face that, "I will not tolerate your misdoings anymore"

We are not calling for a rebellion.
Neither do we want to out-throw the government.
We just want a "Revolution"

The system will not correct itself, the corrupt will not make laws to prevent corruption or stand up for your need. Take to the streets, create a movement that aims at changing the system and correcting its flaws. Always follow the path of non-violence.

No leader will come to your rescue, no one will work for you, do it yourself. Join hands. United as One we stand.

You know what to do...
You know what to fight for...
You know what is right...
You just need to know "WHO YOU ARE"

After 65 years, this nation needs to unite once again, to be truly free.

Be ready to save "your" nation....

We are Anonymous.
We are Legion.
We do not forget.
We WONT FORGIVE.

Govt. of India, you should have expected us.

Philips hacked, Loads of data leaked by Anonymous

Electronics company Philips was hacked again by Anonymous, with almost 200,000 data leaked on the Internet. The dump was posted under the #Antisec #LulzSecReborn hashtag on one of the hacking groups’ websites.

This is the third time this year when the electronics giant is breached, and user data is stolen. The leaked files have been uploaded to various file hosting sites and contain a compressed file with raw sql database outputs. Some of the files only contain minor information such as subscriber names and ids but few files have administration and user accounts with encrypted passwords.

All together there is well over 200,000 emails with at least 1000 of them have further vital credentails that could allow others to use the users personal information.

At the time, Philips shut down one of its servers, and said it started to investigate the breach with the Police.

Suspected LulzSec hacker arrested in Sony Pictures breach

A second suspected member of the clandestine hacking group LulzSec was arrested on Tuesday on charges he took part in an extensive computer breach of Sony Pictures Entertainment, the FBI said. Raynaldo Rivera, 20, of Tempe, Arizona, surrendered to U.S. authorities in Phoenix six days after a federal grand jury in Los Angeles returned an indictment charging him with conspiracy and unauthorized impairment of a protected computer. If convicted, Rivera faces up to 15 years in prison. The indictment, unsealed on Tuesday, accuses Rivera and co-conspirators of stealing information from Sony Corp's Sony Pictures' computer systems in May and June 2011 using an "SQL injection" attack against the studio's website, a technique commonly employed by hackers. The indictment said Rivera then helped to post the confidential information onto LulzSec's website and announced the intrusion via the hacking group's Twitter account. While Rivera was the only person named in the indictment, the FBI said his co-conspirators included Cody Kretsinger, 24, a confessed LulzSec member who pleaded guilty in April to federal charges stemming from his role in the Sony attack.

Operation free Assange is in support of Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks.

Earlier this week Anonymous attacked the websites of the UK Ministry of Justice and the Department for Work and Pensions corporate website, royal.gov.uk, gateway.gov.uk, statistics.gov.uk and number10.gov.uk.

Global TrapWire/INDECT protest October 20

The TrapWire surveillance system and Europe's INDECT are the subject of a global Anonymous protest planned for Saturday, October 20 2012 Information about the protest is being shared on twitter by OpINDECT International and there is an #OpINDECT/#TrapWire Facebook Event Page.

It is not the first INDECT protest - but recent news about TrapWire from the Wikileaks leak of private intelligence firm Stratfor's documents has added a tanker of gas to the fire.

News and locations of the protest are being shared on various forums and social media sites primarily with a google map showing locations of protesters joining the efforts to raise awareness and intent to stop use of the surveillance technologies.

TrapWire is in implementation in the United States while INDECT is officially still a European research project. While details are unconfirmed, the intent of both TrapWire and INDECT is to combine various intelligent surveillance technologies with tracking and location data, individual profile histories from various sources (datamining and social media), and image data analysis (such as facial recognition; TrapWire's video component) to monitor people under the guise of threat detection. Upon the release of Wikileaks' Stratfor documents (emails), news about TrapWire and sibling surveillance technologies have been met with increasing public surprise, fear and outrage.

A significant number of TrapWire and INDECT's opponents believe the surveillance systems to be direct threats to privacy, certain civil freedoms and that their implementation could constitute human rights violations. TrapWire is used by private entities, the US Government "and its allies overseas."

Last week it was revealed that TrapWire is now linked to Anonymizer, a tool used by activists and at-risk populations - formerly trusted for its security and anonymity protections.

Anonymous defaced Pussy Riot court website.

The website of a Moscow court that sentenced three members of Russian punk band Pussy Riot has suffered a hack attack. The site of the Khamovnichesky District Court was defaced with anti-Vladimir Putin slogans and a video uploaded.

In a message on the site, the attackers associated themselves with Anonymous. "We are American group Anonymous. We don't forget and we don't forgive," said the post, in Russian. "Justice system has to be transparent. Pussy [Riot's members] are alive," said another of the posts. Hackers also uploaded a new song by Pussy Riot, called Putin is Lighting the Fires of the Revolution, and a video of a Bulgarian singer, Aziz.

A spokeswoman for the court said the attack had been discovered early on Tuesday and the site was temporarily taken down.

Anonymous attacks British government sites

Anonymous has attacked the websites of the UK Ministry of Justice and the Department for Work and Pensions corporate website, royal.gov.uk, gateway.gov.uk, statistics.gov.uk and number10.gov.uk. The attack is a protest for Britain’s handling of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. The assault on the websites is being carried out under a campaign branded #OpFreeAssange.

Earlier this week Ecuador has granted asylum to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange two months after he took refuge in its London embassy while fighting extradition from the UK. Foreign minister Ricardo Patino accused the UK of making an "open threat" to enter its embassy to arrest Mr Assange.

A spokeswoman for the Ministry of Justice website said it "had been experiencing some disruption". "This is a public information website and no sensitive data is held on it. No other Ministry of Justice systems have been affected," she said in a statement. "Measures put in place to keep the website running mean that some visitors may be unable to access the site intermittently. We will continue to monitor the situation and will take measures accordingly," she added.

Hacking groups Anonymous and Redhack’s recent success in crashing the websites of public institutions is forcing the Turkish gov’t to form a new cyber-combat team

A National Cyber Security Strategy Document recently proposed to Transportation and Communication Minister Binalı Yıldırım As part of the project, government teams will closely monitor cyber attacks from domestic and international sources. The Turkish government has announced plans to establish a cyber team to combat recent attacks by activist hacking groups such as Redhack and Anonymous.

The plan, which comes on the heels of numerous protest attacks on state websites, includes the establishment of a National Cyber Security Board and a National Cyber Early Warning and Action Center to combat the two main hacking groups. The proposals were included in a recent report titled “National Cyber Security Strategy Document” that was presented to Transportation and Communication Minister Binali Yıldırım.As part of the project, government teams will closely monitor cyber attacks from both domestic and international sources, the structures of the attacking persons or groups, as well as the plans and timing of the attacks. In response, the teams will systematically form counter plans and solutions.According to the document, undergraduate and graduate programs will be opened in the field of cyber security, while research institutions and test centers focusing on the matter will also be promoted. In addition, special regulations will be passed to foster the employment of cyber security experts in public institutions so that the state can make use of their knowledge and skills.

The document also recommends the acquisition of technological devices used in cyber security from domestic sources, as well as the opening of research and development programs to encourage the production and usage of national technologies in the cyber security field. At the same time, the proposal also calls for the foundation of a regional cyber organization that would enable Turkey to become a regional leader in the field. The information technology infrastructure of private and public sectors, both of which operate critical infrastructure, must be upgraded to the standards of the Information Security Administrative System by the end of 2013, according to the document.

The document also suggested that all institutions with critical infrastructure must be included in National Cyber Security exercises and that an Anti-Cyber Attack Team (SOME) should be founded. The proposal further recommended the formation of Cyber Security Excellence Networks (MÃœKNET) within the Defense Industries Undersecretary in the interests of improving national cyber security products. The document further calls for the development of systems to prevent malicious software, viruses, and attacks against firewalls using national resources, as well as national defense profiles. Technologies such as a National Operating System, National Internet Browser and National Search Engine were also proposed in the document. Redhack, a socialist hacking group, has frequently targeted government ministers and the police in response to current events; they have also received support for some operations from the international hacking group Anonymous.

Assange speech at Ecuador Embassy

Julian Assange makes his first public appearance in two months, ever since he took refuge in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. The WikiLeaks founder was granted political asylum on Thursday -- a decision that ignited a wave of international responses, with the UK and Sweden opposing the verdict and Latin American countries strongly supporting Ecuador's move. Anonymous hacked site of the prime minister Uganda

Anonymous recently hacked and defaced the Web site of the prime minister of Uganda to protest the country’s treatment of its lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens.

The message on the prime minister’s Web site reads in part, “Your violations of the rights of LGBT people have disgusted us. ALL people have the right to live in dignity free from the repression of someone else’s political and religious beliefs. You should be PROUD of your LGBT citizens, because they clearly have more balls than you will ever have. Real Ugandan Pride is demonstrated in standing up to oppression despite fearing the abuse, torture and murder inflicted on LGBT at the hands of the corrupt government.”

“We currently have full control of the President of Uganda’s website,” the hackers added in a statement on Pastebin. “We will not stand by while LGBT Ugandans are victimized, abused and murdered by a ruthless and corrupt government.

#TheEliteSociety and #Anonymous will continue to target Ugandan government sites and communications until the government of Uganda treats all people including LGBT equally and with respect, dignity and immediately ends the arrest and harassment of LGBT.”

Ecuador has granted asylum to Julian Assange

Ecuador has granted asylum to Wikileaks founder Julian Assange two months after he took refuge in its London embassy while fighting extradition from the UK. It said there were fears Mr Assange's human rights may be violated. Foreign minister Ricardo Patino accused the UK of making an "open threat" to enter its embassy to arrest Mr Assange. Mr Assange took refuge at the embassy in June to avoid extradition to Sweden, where he faces questioning over assault and rape claims, which he denies.

Announcing Ecuador's decision, Mr Patino said the country believed Mr Assange's fears of political persecution were "legitimate". He said the country was being loyal to its "tradition" of protecting those who are vulnerable. "We trust that our friendship with the United Kingdom will remain intact," he added.

Outside Ecuador's embassy in London, the BBC's James Robbins said news was slowly spreading through Mr Assange's assembled supporters. Our correspondent said they were delighted, but the UK government is insisting it changes nothing. They will still seek to arrest him and they will not grant him safe passage. If he steps out, he will be arrested.

Anonymous Operation TrapWire – Press Release

Greetings Citizens of the United States of America.

This weekend, it was disclosed by Wikileaks the details about a system known as “TrapWire” that uses facial recognition and other techniques including high-end artificial intelligence to track and monitor individuals using countless different closed-circuit cameras operated by cities and other institutions, including private businesses. This program also monitors all social media on the internet. The software is billed as a method by which to prevent terrorism, but can of course also be used to provide unprecedented surveillance and data-mining capabilities to governments and corporations – including many with a history of using new technologies to violate the rights of citizens. TrapWire is already used in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Texas, DC, London, and other locales around the USA.

The ex-CIA agents who help run the firm are old friends of Stratfor vice president Fred Burton, whom they’ve briefed on their own capabilities in e-mails obtained by Anonymous hackers and provided to WikiLeaks. Stratfor has engaged in several surveillance operations against activists, such as those advocating for victims of the Bhopal disaster – on behalf of large U.S. corporatons; Burton himelf was revealed to have advocated “bankrupting” and “ruining the life” of activists like Julian Assange in e-mails to other friends. TrapWire is extremely expensive to maintain, and is usually done so at taxpayer expense; Los Angeles county alone has spent over $1.4 million dollars on the software’s use in a single three-month period of 2007.

Although most of the regions in which TrapWire operates don’t share information with each other, all of this is set to change; as Abraxas Applications president Dan Botsch told Burton via e-mail, “I think over time the different networks will begin to unite,” noting that several networks had already begun discussions on merging their information. Abraxas itself has always had the ability to “cross-network matches” from every region at their own office. By June 2011, Washington D.C. police were engaged in a pilot project under the Departent of Homeland Security that’s likely to lead to more cities using TrapWire on a more integrated basis.

Abraxas, the firm whose spin-off Abraxas Applications developed TrapWire in 2007, has long been involved in a lesser-known practice known as persona management, which involves the use of fake online “people” to gather intelligence and/or disseminate disinformation. The firm Ntrepid, created by Abraxas owner Cubic Corporation, won a 2010 CENTCOM contract to provide such capabilities for use in foreign countries; several board members of Ntrepid also sit on Abraxas.

The more we learn about TrapWire and similar systems, it becomes absolutely clear that we must at all costs shut this system down and render it useless. A giant AI electronic brain able to monitor us through a combination of access to all the CCTV cameras as well as all the online social media feeds is monstrous and Orwellian in it’s implications and possibilities. The Peoples Liberation Front and Anonymous will now put forth a call to arms, and initiate the doom of this evil and misbegotten program. We will use the following tactics to accomplish this goal:

1) The PLF and Anonymous will work closely with WikiLeaks and Project PM to gather, collate, disclose and disseminate as much information as possible about TrapWire and it’s related technologies and programs. This was begun this weekend, and already much has been learned. And they are scared of this, already many sites and repositories of data on TrapWire are disappearing – being taken down by those who do not want you to know the truth about what they are doing. And WikiLeaks is at this writing enduring a massive and historic DdoS attack in an attempt to conceal this information from the public. We will do this not only to educate the general public regarding TrapWire, but to move them to pressure their representatives to shut down funding for this and similar programs of massive surveillance, and to pass laws outlawing the creation of future projects of this type.

2) ACTION ALERT – “Smash A Cam Saturday”: TrapWire has access to virtually all CCTV’s that have IP/internet connectivity. We have prepared an initial map/database of these cameras across the USA, and we will continue to expand this knowledge base. http://bit.ly/PcByYJ While this database is a good guide to high priority camera targets, we encourage everyone to target any camera with IP/internet connectivity. We are asking everyone to sabotage at least one CCTV per week on what we are calling “Smash A Cam Saturday”. We have provided this excellent manual of different tactics and strategies for disabling or destroying these “eyes of the beast”. http://bit.ly/1Qjp

3) As stated above, this “monster” doesn’t just have eyes that need gouging out – it also has “ears”. TrapWire constantly monitors social media. In a strange twist of fate, the company that developed TrapWire also works on something called “sock-puppet” programs. These are projects designed to create thousands of fake personas on social media. We will turn this idea and software against them, creating thousands of phony accounts and use them to produce a deluge of false triggers for the TrapWire program – essentially drowning it in “white noise”.

4) Finally, the Peoples Liberation Front and Anonymous will do what we do best. We will find, hack – and destroy the servers where the AI “electronic brain” of this program is housed. Operation TrapWire is a direct action of the over-arching Anonymous Operation USA. TrapWire is but one instance of how the government of the USA has turned against it’s own citizens, designating them as suspects and enemies. Now those citizens rise, and take back their country and their freedom. Welcome to the Second American Revolution.

We Are Anonymous
We Are Legion
We Never Forgive
We Never Forget
Government of the USA, it’s to late to EXPECT US.

Anonymous shut down Australian spy agency

Anonymous have shut down a computer server belonging to Australia's domestic spy agency ASIO, reportedly briefly closing down access to its public webpage. The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) acknowledged some disruption to its website.

"ASIO is aware that there may have been some technical issues with its public website," a spokesperson said.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported that ASIO's website was down for at least 30 minutes Friday morning, but it appeared to be loading normally Friday afternoon. Operation Australia, which has its own @Op_Australia Twitter stream said it would "stop the attacks at 10pm Aus. BUT we will never stop watching!".

The personal and departmental websites of Attorney-General Nicola Roxon, the ruling Labor party's South Australia branch and Tasmania police sites were also targeted in the plot. It appeared linked to a controversial government plan to store the web history of all Australians for up to two years which was shelved Thursday until after the 2013 elections.

Anonymous attacks Ukrainian government

Anonymous has attacked the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Agency for Copyright and Related Rights and the Ukrainian Anti-Piracy Association. Demonoid, a popular BitTorrent tracker, was taken offline by Ukrainian authorities. In response, Anonymous has launched OpDemonoid.

In a previous statement to the public, Anonymous reminded the Ukrainian government that they had faced their wrath before, asking: “Haven’t you, Ukraine, learned anything from the Anonymous Collective? You were attacked once, and yet feel the need to keep censoring us, your people, and every day hard working citizens?”

“Ukrainian government, You should have expected us.”
